James D. Williams
He is a co-founder of K Development, Inc. and the Erie Brewing Company, Inc. in Erie, Pennsylvania for which he served as President and General Manager. In April 1997 he resigned his position as General Manager of a major steel forging company to work on building K Development, Inc.. He has held management positions with both the General Electric Company (18 years) and Smith Meter, Inc. (12 years). As a senior staff member at Smith Meter, Inc. he participated in a leveraged buy-out that resulted in a very successful public offering in 1991.He attended both Gannon and Penn State and is married with three children. Jason L. Williams and Jeffery F. Williams are his sons. Jim is the crew chief for Jason and Jeff’s rally team. He also enjoys a cold beer after working around the house.
